Stories light up Old Bolsover Yard for Lantern Parade

We are delighted to bring two fabulous storytellers to this year’s Bolsover Christmas Festival and Junction Arts’ spectacular Lantern Parade on Saturday 26 November.

Tim Ralphs and Maria Whatton will be taking up residence in Old Bolsover Yard, sharing stories of light and of Christmas to make you glow with seasonal warmth. Some of the young people from the ‘Our Stories, Our Places, Our Futures’ project will also be joining us during the day to share stories created for the project.

1.45 – 2.05pm & 2.25 – 2.45pm – Maria Whatton.

We’d love to see you there for what promises to be a really fun day – Bolsover will be bursting with festive traders, family entertainment, art activities and food and drink, Bolsover Castle is also open. The Lantern Parade tops off a truly Christmassy day from 4-6pm.
