FREE Story-Making Week at Bolsover Castle
As part of the Our Stories, Our Places, Our Futures project we're running in partnership with Junction Arts - we're delighted to offer a FREE story-making summer project week at Bolsover Castle from Monday 15 - Friday 19 August, 10am-3pm each day. It's for ages 11-25 and no experience is necessary!
Join us and our 4 professional storytelling artists, Aoife O’Connor, Beccy Dye, Lewis Doherty and Maria Whatton, to develop your storytelling skills and help create a performance or activity to be showcased at Tapton Lock Festival on Saturday 10 September 2022*
There will be an opportunity to do Arts Award Discover as part of the week, as well as meet other creative young people, and build your confidence in a welcoming environment. During the week, we will explore themes of self, place and imagined futures.
Sessions will take place both indoors and outdoors, and include a tour of the Bolsover Castle. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
We can tell a story any way we choose – how will you tell yours?
For more information please contact Jane at Junction Arts: 01246 209219 or book your FREE place on Eventbrite.
Supported by Arts Council England and Foundation Derbyshire
*please note you must be available for the Tapton Lock Festival to take part in the project week.
