Cultural Recovery Fund Success

We are thrilled to announce that Adverse Camber has received a £30,000 award from the third round of the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund. We are among more than 925 recipients to benefit from the latest round of awards from the fund.

Adverse Camber Chair, Nick Cutts said:

“We are delighted and very grateful for this Culture Recovery Fund award which means Adverse Camber can keep support flowing to storytellers, our team and communities. We'll be nurturing new strands of creative activity both in the immediate next few months as well as longer term into 2022 and beyond.  We know how much stories have the power to inspire us, especially in challenging times, and with these funds we’ll hold some fantastic online story events over the winter, create development opportunities for storytellers, and expand our team, so that we can bring more storytelling to more people next year. We can’t wait to put all our plans into action.”

This third round of funding will support organisations from all corners of the sector as they deal with ongoing reopening challenges, ensuring they can thrive in better times ahead.

“This continued investment from the Government on an unprecedented scale means our theatres, galleries, music venues, museums and arts centres can carry on playing their part in bringing visitors back to our high streets, helping to drive economic growth, boosting community pride and promoting good health.
