Joseph Ngor Deng

Joseph Ngor Deng Matem is a South Sudanese journalist with more than Eleven years of experience in broadcast and print journalism, an Alumnus of Young African Leaders initiative known as YALI. YALI is a flagship for US department of state. It is a program that empower African youth with leadership skills.
Joseph worked as a news and programs editor with community radio stations for over five years. He loves keeping people informed about the news in their communities for them to make informed decisions about their lives. Ngor is very active on social media, telling stories related to Weather focus and in particular on Climate change and advocates for the welfare of people living with disability. Recently Ngor was selected to participate in  Alumni Symposium for Mandela Washington Fellowship for young Africa leaders initiative in March this year (2023) in Johannesburg, South Africa.
