Exciting Weeks Ahead for Fire in the North Sky

The next couple of weeks are looking really busy and exciting for Adverse Camber. Anna-Kaisa, Kristiina and Timo have flown in from Finland to join Nick Hennessey and the production team ahead of rehearsals and preview performances of our brand new co-commission, Fire in the North Sky: Epic Tales from Finland (Saatuja Sanoja).  We are very grateful to Sage Gateshead and mac birmingham for supporting us with their amazing buildings, facilities and expertise as we develop this new show. During the rehearsals and previews, we'll keep posting about the process so do keep checking our website and social media for a glimpse behind the scenes! And we’re heading ever closer to the UK premiere performance of Fire in the North Sky at the 21st Beyond the Border International Storytelling Festival on Friday 4th July and Sunday 6th July. This year Beyond the Border Festival celebrates its 21st anniversary with the stories and music of Northern Europe as a major theme throughout the three-day event.  We're all extremely thrilled that the Finnish Ambassador, Pekka Huhtaniemi will be attending the launch night of the festival!
