Discover your inner royal!
'Right Royal Stories' for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in Derbyshire Libraries throughout June
We can't wait to land in libraries across Derbyshire with two of the Midlands’ most courtly and courteous storytellers, Rachel Murray and Tim Ralphs throughout June for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Join them on a journey to discover Queens and Kings, Princesses and Princes from across time and around the world!
A superbly spun selection of stories, rummaged from the imaginatively rich libraries of folktale and legend, as well as episodes from the history of our very own isles, will magic you away to a place where you imagine yourself sitting on a throne, and even begin to uncover your own inner royal!
Rachel and Tim will craft a series of storytelling sessions some together and some on their own, with some activities for audiences to discover their own inner royal!
As well as sharing folktales and legends of wise royals, our storytellers will dig deep into their story stores for tales which celebrate the part we all play in making our communities places of celebration – bringing enjoyment, hilarity, variety and personal empowerment to these story sessions.
