Opening the Gate workshop
Nick Hennessey and Alison Piasecka are running a two day workshop allowing participants to review and renew the stories of their lives, and in doing so rediscover themes they may have lost or forgotten. The workshop may also find the gate opening into stories that speak of the future.
When we are asked to describe ourselves, we often find that we use the same sentences, the same jokes, the same stories over and over. The stories we tell of our lives can either trap us in a narrative that is outlived, or release our potential for the future. The workshop will use song, music, traditional storytelling in an inspirationl venue, where a natural, unspoiled landscape meets more than two thousand years of history.
